How to duplicate WordPress portfolio item? I have installed the "Duplicate-Post" plugin but it only works with Pages but not for Portfolio Item.

Try https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-duplicator/ It will not be simple as custom post type are created with custom data by theme providers. These plug-in work on standard parameters as default post type or page.

I have a blog (for what it's worth) that is presently English only. I want to make it bilingual, which means it should have both English and Urdu articles. I want the English articles to carry a link saying "Read in Urdu" (or some such) and when it's clicked it would lead to an Urdu translation. The translation would be manually done, so I don't need an app or plugin to do the translation for me. I do need help with the technical aspects of making the rest possible. The CMS used is WordPress, and I assume the Urdu articles would be a new WordPress post and hyperlinked together?
