Assalm o alaikum, I need to upload documents to HEC portal. Max. allowed size is 500 KB. I am able to reduce size from 8 MB to 1.5 MB using online tools. How can I reduce it further without information loss? Thanks.

try this: https://tinypng.com/ if not in windows open in paint and then save image again.it will reduce size

Paint option is best.. open with paint and reduce size.. reduce it by 70 or 60%

Copy and paste inage in word file. The from menu (not exactly i remmember where it is. Google it.) Select compres file for email format. It will reduce image to 150,200 kb.

You can reduce dpi by resizing image in paint. Check by setting dpi to 200 150 or 96. I have done such avtivity revently.
