A scrap document scanner device. I want to salvage it to obtainthe CCD array inside.

Yaar it just recently occurred to me that we can use that to design a spectroscopic system for our Physics lab. Importing even a photodiode array was expensive and time consuming.

Need a blood pressure and a glucose monitor for my dad. Any suggestions or recommendations on which device/s I should get? Should I get them from here (Karachi) and, if yes, from where? Or should I get it from Amazon or some US store? Or is importing a monitor a bad idea because I would be able to get compatible lancing devices and strips? I don't really have much idea about these so any help/recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
