I went to Umrah this year with my wife and two kids. Got only the visa from travel agents here. Rest did everything on my own, and the cost was around 50% less than what these travel agents were charging.
Airline - did myself, book in advance and keep checking rates, we got a good deal with Emirates.
Hotels in Makkah and Madinah - Booked from booking.com, Madinah SAR 240 per night, Makkah SAR 200 per night.
Transport - airport to hotel - Took a ride from people outside ready to give a ride, Madinah airport to Haram - SAR 70 , Makkah to Jeddah - SAR 160 ; FRom madina to Makkah went on SAPTCO buses, got the tickets in a deal around SAR 150 for 2 adults 2 kids,
