I think mixing it up is the wrong way and what you are doing is the right way. Don't know if I am correct.

Just a matter of octanes.. the beter the octanes. the better mileage you get in per liter.

So you suggest to fuel up pure octane .. No mixing?
If on normal fuel you have knocking issue than fueling up with hi octane is good solution. Also bike performs well on higher octanes.

20% hi-octane and 80% patrol is better for normal engine because hi-octane is use for big engine like heavy bikes or car's.

60% ho 40% regular. Same in the case of car

there is no harm in using better fuel. so use any thing u want.

You're doing it the right way. Don't mix them up though. Use Hi-Octane always. Occasionally, you could go for the normal one.

Thank you very much everyone. CONCLUSION: Engine health do not get effected either you use Hi-octane or Normal or mix petrol. Its just effect performance...!
