Hello, I’m new to the group. Not an emergency but looking for advice/feedback regarding my cat/dental cleaning/anesthesia: So my 5yo neutered male cat needs a dental cleaning done (as recommended by his vet but I also see his gums are red and irritated so I do agree with my vet). However I have never had a dental cleaning done on a cat before and his vet did detect a heart murmur. My cat has not really shown any signs of a heart problem but I was told an EKG and Chest X-rays would be done before anything else. I’m also just worried about him being put under in general.
