Does anyone here have put packing in Prius 2010 old shape lights ? Does suspension issue comes when we put packing in it? Need good recommendations

I think I opted for canvas shims around 1.5" back in 2015.After that have been to Naran on Prius with flawless ride/economy.

Don't let him change springs.for front shims they will imploy long studs but keep original with you.
