OnePlus 5T short review. Recently, I've been seeing a lot of negative comments about this brand. A few recommendations of this phone here and there. But no review. So I thought maybe I could share some of my thoughts about this phone. I bought this phone last week because I broke my iPhone X's screen and replacing it was costing me almost the same amount as this phone. So I thought, well, why not buy this phone instead. I'll start with the screen. It is a very big and bright screen. Pretty good colors and sunlight legibility. I hated the notch on the iPhone X design so this phone's screen is a plus for me. The software is almost vanilla android. And the user experience is pretty typical Android. The top of the line processor makes things run very smoothly. Camera is also very good. D

Only drawback I see is, they issue new model really fast... I bought one plus 5 and after three months oneplus 5t was in the stores..... I am happy with my phone... Though I'll wait for few more upgrades till I change my phone...

i think that has to do with 2 things: . they are constantly trying to stay ahead of the competition . they produce limited units. and when they run out, instead of making more of those units they just launch a newer model

Major brands now launch phone every 6 months. LG does with the V and G series. Samsung does with the S and note series. The trend was started by Sony with a 6 months product cycle.

It shouldn't matter to you as long as the phone is good for 2-3 years, gets updates and has good community support. In tech everything gets outdated soon

I guess the way Apple, google and samsung are increasing the prices of their flagship phones for the sake of name of flagship, brands like Oneplus and Xaomi will start flourishing quiet fast, for the very less trade offs like camera quality, i guess one can live with that keeping in mind that with the money they are saving they can buy a very good entry level dslr which has no comparison with phone cameras, and quality of pictures will not decrease like phone cameras during the period, im iPhone user since 2008, i was also thinking of switching to oneplus when i spent 120k on iPhoneX, then i realized how deeply im integrated with Apple Ecosystem that I would not survive a single day, specially when im able to shoot 4k video with my drone and edit it on my iphone that gives me priceless satisfaction.
