Toggle the a and b speakers. I’ve had my sound come back by doing this.
Will do that and what about auto turning off and on of the receiver? Whilst it was connected via HDMI it turned off and on constantly and after switching to optical audio cable it switched off on its on but I had to turn it on via its remote.
Not sure buddy. My onkyo does turn on and off sometimes when the generator is on but that’s due to dips and surges in the voltage. Not sure if it’s the same case with you.
Ahmed Karim I don’t use it on generator.
From what I understand is that these amps have an auto trip mechanism in place where if it gets low or high voltage it will trip. Could be this. Could be something completely different. Sorry not sure how to help on this any further.
Not saying only on generator. You could voltage issues from KE. Fluctuation basically.
Power seems stable, I’ve even changed the extension boards.

Try using another source Like a bluray player or your phone via analogue

Will try playing a song from usb.
Do a simple test. If you have any rca to 3.5mm cable AKA aux cable then connect your amp and your phone and check for output
Zain Ali Did that right now but unfortunately can't hear the sound. :/
Go to speaker level settings where you can hear an audible static to adjust the level settings See if you can hear the static

Ahmed Karim Tried switching between A and B alas no luck. Zain Ali Inserted a usb full of mp3 songs but the receiver displays no storage.

This is strange. It’s turning on but no sound. Do you have an aux to headphone cable? Also if you have headphones try plugging those into the headphone jack to see if the amp is receiving music from your source.
Ahmed Karim Tried what you said but still the issues persists.
Out of suggestions bro. I called my guy who I buy my electronics from and he’s suggesting taking it to Regal in saddar. You can call him and figure it out if you like. Uzair ‭0300 2287455‬ Give my reference.
Is he a repair person or deals in Onkyo systems?
He has a shop in saddar. I buy all electronics from him phones, TVs,amps etc. Bought my onkyo from him and he’s saying they have this repair guy they use in regal and he can direct you to him.
Ahmed Karim Thanks Bro.

Okay so, I connected edifier 2.1 speakers via normal audio cable (the green one) and guess what? I could hear the sound. The edifier does not have optical cable option so I could not test it properly, whether the issue is with my mobo or Onkyo Sound System.
