I would never buy from an unknown person, ebay or any other online store except Ledger itself. Too dangerous.

Agreed. Which is why I was giving out the shipment/order details. But I totally agree with you - and finally giving it to another close friend, so that there's no trust issue. I'm too paranoid myself, however ledger says otherwise (that the devices cannot be tampered with).

A friend of mine bought from ebay and his device was infact tempered and he lost his crypto. They actually replace the code sheet inside as far as i've heard. It's good that you gave it to a close friend. God forbid something happens to a stranger after you sell it and blames it on you that's a lot of shit to endure. ( Talking from experience )
