Newest additions to the family: The big DAC/amp is the brand new Topping DX7s (supports DSD512 native and PCM 32/768), connected to my HE-400i via a 4-pin balanced XLR Sukira cable. This is my home listening gear, VERY rich and detailed. Sample song playing is Miles Davis Sextet - Some Day My Prince Will Come in DSD256. Summary? HO LY SHIT I've yet to pair this DAC/amp with any other cans, mainly because my only other pair is the ATH-A900X with a slightly faulty cable and shitty earpads. MY FIBERLINK STORY: 1. I was warned by many not to get a Fiberlink connection. However, a total of one friend I know did have a properly installed connection that gives the speed they claim. This convinced me to give it a shot (I'm in DHA, Karachi). I have Satcomm and they've been great but I was tempted by the cheap price and promised speed. 2. On November 17 I make the awful mistake of paying Rs11k for a 40MBps connection to a very shady sales agent who gives me the number of "Maya" for any follow-up.
