Hi Mughees, I believe you're looking for something like this: http://www.sbp.org.pk/epd/1996/c40.htm However, I believe this is an outdated procedure. If your question pertains to exporting software and getting the related tax exemption then you need to ensure the following (as per my understanding): 1. Make sure you maintain proper contracts with your customers and specify the nature of work clearly. 2. When you invoice them, mention the reason for payment (clearly related to software export) 3. Make sure when they send the funds (mostly as wire), they specify in the instructions the nature of work. You can ask your bank to furnish Proceeds Realization Certificates (PRC) against each payment. You need to ensure that the code is applied correctly (often bank staff can make an error or bad judgement here): Following codes are exempted for tax under IT/ITES services. 9102 Call Centers 9181 Hardware Consultancy Services 9182 Software Consultancy Services 9183 Maintenance and Repair of Computers 9184 Export of Computer Software 9185 Other Computer Services I hope that helps.
