Agree with Jahanzeb Khan... It is supposed to be like this but in Pakistani Universities it literally doesn't make any difference as there are no separate jobs for all 3 categories. All Universities have same course outline only difference comes in 2/3 elective courses.

There is no difference ! This classification is only done by pucit. I dont know what was the purpose originally, but now graduates from all 3 degrees compete for same job and position. Only some of the courses in last semesters differ is all.

CS is more generic of 2 and qualify for both IT and SE. IT is more about effectively using an already built software system While SE is about building new software or modifying existing software.

Sciences are related to finding new concepts in the field while engineering is using those concepts and putting them to productive use. So CS concentrates on "finding" and SE puts those new findings to productive use to make more efficient systems. For example, discovering that coiling a conductor and passing electricity through it is related to science, making an iron out of it is engineering. Hope it answers your question.
