This post is regarding emergency of Shalamar hospital lahore. When you reach in emergency of shalamar hospital with a patient who need immediate medical help. Firstly you need to make receipt from main reception with paying 100 rs. Then they people send you to another room where you have to pay 50 rs for blood pressure check. It waste a lot of time in making another receipt and payment. Then they send to you Main emergency ward where you have to wait for dr arrival and your turn. Then dr prescribe medicine and then attendant have to bring medicine from nearest pharmacy. Then sister come at their convince to the patient and place the cannula according to requirement and you have to pay 100 rs for this cannula placement, then more 100 rs have to pay for injection insertion through that cannu

Unfortunately, the only way is to file a complaint on citizen portal. I’m not sure if it’s effecting, but I think its the only way. Also when writing complaint, make it precise.

It's a private hospital. There are some rules & regulations. Why don't you visit a goverment one instead of complaining about expenses on social media

Muhammad Abdul Rauf u know when someone 's life is at risk people only consider nearby hospital, in that area there is no government hospital. And i am talking about the procedure of paying payments at various times, if we people will not raise our voices against these pathetic rules then there is no chance of change in these hospitals and adary.

it's not easy to provide health care services at a large scale with limited resources without gov. funding... Getting private treatment is expensive around the globe.no point arguing Contact DMS n ask them to set up a better payment method.you can also file a complain about staff behavior n quality of service you getting...

I have experience of visit Govt hospitals 2 times in an emergency situation. Whatever time was , doctors are available.. and there is no issue of any receipt as well.. wo koi bhi banwa sakta hai but us waja se patient ko nahi roktey.. Govt hospitals me patients count buhat zada hai in wards, OPD, and ICUs But emergency should be well managed whether its private or govt hospital. You should talk to some Medical suprident or any senior management person for complaint.. Complaining here or on citizen portal may not be effective place.

Actually private hospitals may some times asa hota hay k patient ki death hojati hay ya phr Baz dfa mareez ghreeb hota hay. So unk pas it ay funds aur resources nahe hotay k wo asay deal kren. Yes they can fix a minimum amount of patients jin ko. Daily is procedure k bahgre deal kia ja skta hay. So that hospital loss may na jaye. As a volunteer and dealing with such things for. More then a year I have much experience of this.
